Admissions and Registration
Central Catholic High School admits students of any race, color, sex, creed, and national or ethnic origin to all the rights, privileges, programs, and activities generally made to the students at this school. This school does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, sex, creed, and national or ethnic origin in the administration of educational policies, admission policies, tuition reduction program, athletics, or any other school-administered program.
Prospective students must reside with their parent(s) or legal guardians and must be interviewed by the principal or guidance counselor. The school reserves the right to test all students being considered for attendance. Parents are required to share the results of any evaluation of the student with the school. Central Catholic accepts students whom the school discerns will contribute to the school and adhere to the philosophy of Central Catholic. In admitting students, preference is given to those students who are Catholic. Non-Catholics who have been enrolled in Holy Cross Elementary School and those brothers and sisters of Central Catholic students or alumni, or children of alumni are given priority in admission over non-Catholics with no previous Catholic school affiliation. If a student leaves for any reason, readmission is contigent upon available space at the time the student applies for re-admission.
A student must be registered to participate in co-curricular, extra-curricular or summer activities.
Registration Procedure
- Complete application for admission and registration forms.
- Submit birth certificate, immunization record, and transcript.
- Conduct student and parent interviews.
- School notifies parent(s) of acceptance decision
- Make tuition arrangements.
- Pay registration fees.
- Complete and submit Parental Participation Pledge.
- Guidance counselor creates student's schedule.
Please notify the principal in confidence if there are legal issues related to parental privileges in picking up children at school.
